We're a Cal Alumni Association chapter serving Northern Nevada and the Sierra Nevada Mountains — covering 15 Nevada counties and the nine northern California counties that border Nevada. We're a community of Cal Bears who love getting together, sharing stories, and staying connected to our roots. Through fun events and meaningful programs, we support the next generation of students with our scholarship program, all while giving ourselves a great reason to catch up with old friends and make new ones. Whether you're a Cal alum, a partner, family member, or just a friend of the University — we'd love to have you. Come be part of our Bear family! Become a member

We're led by a dedicated group of volunteer Cal alumni, committed to fostering connections among Bears while supporting the next generation of Cal students. Everyone is welcome to join as a member and stay connected with our community. But if you want to get the full Bears in the Woods experience, we'd love for you to become a Member. You'll get access to all our events throughout the year in Lake Tahoe and Reno — from the always-popular Cal Coaches Caravan to the Big Game Dinner. Members directly help local high school graduates attend Cal. We award $2,000 scholarships that renew for up to four years, making a real difference in the next generation of students. Whether you graduated decades ago, just walked across the stage, or simply love Cal, becoming a Member means you're not just joining events — you're investing in the next generation of Bears in our region.
